The
foundation of any performance vehicle is the selection
of a good chassis. Therefore we offer quality chassis suitable
for your needs. Ask us about our polished powder coated
process for the A-arms. You won't believe how good this
looks and how easy upkeep is. CORVETTE
& TRI-5 CHASSIS
The
chassis featured are rectangular 2” x 4” x
0.120”
wall mandrel bent tube frames using CAD / CAM technology
and CNC laser cut components. We feature an Art Morrison
GT Sport Chassis for 1953-1962 Corvettes and Tri-5 Chassis
for 1955-1957 Chevrolets. Both are “bolt-on” chassis
with the Tri-5 chassis accommodating all ’55-57
sedans, hardtops, convertibles, wagons, and nomads. These “bolt
on”
chassis provide passageways for the exhaust system through
the frame allowing for a lower stance but yet maintaining
ground clearance. |

|
| Up
front is C5 IFS components complete with forged aluminum
control arms and spindles for the Sport Chassis and tubular
steel control arms for the Tri-5. Both chassis feature Strange
adjustable coil-overs, a hefty 1” sway bar to reduce
body roll, and either a 15:1 or 20:1 AGR Power Rack for steering
performance. |
 |
 |
 |
| The
Corvette chassis has been designed to accommodate 4-5-6 speed
manual transmissions as well as PG, TH350, 400, and 700R4
automatic transmissions. Tri-5 Chassis can accommodate 4-speed,
T-56 6-speed, Richmond 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmissions
and Powerglide, TH350, TH400, and 700-R4 automatic. Integrated
engine mounts allow for small block, big block and LS motors.
A big block in the Tri-5 requires firewall modification.
The LS engines require adapter plates utilizing small block
mounts. Finally, the rear end is equipped with a 9” Ford
with triangulated 4-bar, Strange adjustable coil-overs, and
a ¾”
sway-bar to minimize body roll. |
